Ooooh look, a double dosage of questions
First up, questions from whiteadelphi
1. How did you meet Bakabokken? (Name changed to protect privacy, of course. ^^) Do you know her IRL or is it purely online?
I met Baka through some mutual friends who pulled us all into an AIM chat, and because of the time difference (and me being a night-owl), she and I were of the few who stayed the longest. After that I started talking to her more and more and found we had quite a few similar interests in anime and manga, which resulted in many file swaps. Then, I looked at some of her shorter pieces and critiqued them for her. So I have yet to meet her in real life yet, although, next time I make it to where she is, I fully plan to visit... too bad we are on opposite sides of the country. >.<
2. What career are you aiming for past grad school?
Most likely something in the public relations field. Ideally, if I could combine my love and interest for anime and manga and my English skills to work in public relations for an anime company, then that would be a great job.
3. Favourite place to go and sit and think?
I have this really big purple velour dish chair that is one of the most comfortable chairs ever. I can curl up in it and sit half upside down or in a variety of positions, and it's a great place to just think. If not there, then in the shower, or driving at night with the windows rolled down and the radio up.
4. What's a common misconception that people you meet have of you?
This was a hard one. I had to ask a few people if they had any because usually I think people meet me, they see how I am. The only one I really got was one of my friends thought I was quiet and reserved when he first met me, then quickly realized how wrong he was.
5. What's a memory that makes you giggle when you think about it?
Haha, there are so many to choose from. Every drunk phone call from all my friends, they entertain me greatly. One memory that really comes to mind is a Halloween a few years ago. I was dressed as a dark faerie, and my friend Tomas bowed down to me (while dressed as a priest) and started "worshiping" me because I was the first person to have alcohol at an earlier age than he did, and that I can out drink him.

1. If you weren't majoring in english what else would you want to major in?
I was almost a psychology major, and I even took a few psych classes, but I just didn't have the want to pursue it. I also had interests in classics and theatre, but English is what really attracted my interest, especially since they had such a great department at my school.
2. What's the best prank or joke you ever pulled or did to someone?
Saran wrapping a car has to be at the top of the list. Layers of saran wrap, with various things of shaving cream, silly string, shampoo, soap, and I can't even remember what else in between the layers. Baked in the sun all day, and was a bitch to remove (thankfully I didn't have to remove it =P)... but did no damage to the car. Took a few hours to finish, but totally worth it. =D
3. What's your biggest fear?
Being trapped in a room filled with spiders and snakes, and I'm covered in bait. I think that's it...
4. Who is your biggest influence?
My grandmother Pauline, who died of cancer when I was in middle school. The way she faced life and death to this day amazes me. She only ever wanted me to follow my own path, my own dreams, and do this even if it was hard and if the rest of the family was against it. When my mom was pregnant with me, she said she wanted a granddaughter who would speak her mind, and after I was born people told her to be careful for what she wished for. =P It's the memories I have of her and what she told me that forms the biggest part of the foundation for who I am today.
5. If you could have any character come to life for just one day ::coughandnightcough:: who would it be?
Non-animated... Hamlet, just because that is my favorite Shakespeare play, and damn it, I want more inside information. =P
But because I am like 99% sure you mean from an anime or manga, probably Chrno from Chrno Crusade... because that is still one of my favorite anime/manga, though there are a few others I would probably choose if I was in a different mood.
