Well, dreams aren't my specialty, but if it's really a vision, I could take a shot. What's up?

((Edited slightly. =X))

I-I don't know. I've never had any visions or anything of that kind before, but . . . there was a very strong sense of danger.

The first part. There were a lot of people fighting in front of this castle, and I thought . . . I thought I was there, too. Then everything faded, as if the fighting was completely meaningless compared to these three revolving stars in the sky. One purple, one yellow, and one magenta. I think the purple one spoke . . . and then it fell to earth and was destroyed.

I'm sorry if I'm not very coherent. But you have experience with visions, ma'am?

Don't call me ma'am, I'm fifteen. And I'm pretty familiar with everything magical to one extent or another.

I'd be tempted to pass off the first part as just a garbled memory like most dreams - everyone's probably been dreaming about battles lately, for obvious reasons.

The 'stars in the sky' seem kind of representational though, and they're a pretty common metaphor in prophecy. They could be people, or groups, or clans...yellow, purple, and magenta is a pretty weird set of colors, though. I can't think of any clans or people with magenta on their heraldry, anyway, and that's usually the sort of thing that designates a color in this kind of dreams.

I mean, even magenta dye or paint is rare. The only time you usually see it is when someone's casting a--

Huh.

Oh. Sorry, ma -- Ah. Miss.

That's true enough. It certainly didn't seem as important as the second part, anyway. And I'd thought that they may have been representative of people, but I didn't know what the colors were supposed to . . .

Ah! A spell?! Casting a spell! T-That's what you were going to say, isn't it? Nanoha's magic . . . Whenever she uses magic, it always comes out that exact same shade of magenta! Then the other two --

H-Hold on! The color of my magic is violet! Does that mean I-I'm supposed to be the other star?! The one that's destroyed?!

The Force may be used to grant visions and see into the future. Things that were, are, and may be.

What have you seen, boy?

The Force . . . ? I've never heard of anything like that, sir, I'm sorry.

But I believe it may have been a glimpse of the future. I saw a great castle . . . People fighting everywhere. But before I could see what was going on, it faded away and three stars appeared. Each burned a different color. They were beautiful . . . but after several moments, the center one, the violet one, crashed to Earth and everything went black.

Ah. Then I . . . I heard someone crying out for their mother.

I don't know what this means . . . But I almost feel as if the point of this vision was to stop that star from falling.

It is a source of great power, that can only a few can command. And through it, I believe I will be able to interpret this vision for you.

. . . Ah.

I apologize, sir, but I don't think I have the funds at present to pay for your services.

L-Lord Edgar! I'm not sure how to say this without sounding ridiculous, but . . . I think I caught a glimpse of a future. A possible future.

What did you see?

I saw a great castle -- and people everywhere, fighting and screaming. I wasn't sure, but . . . I thought maybe I saw myself there, too. Then there were three stars glowing in the sky, one yellow, one magenta, one violet. The violet one seemed to speak, then flung the other two stars away before falling to Earth and being destroyed.

. . .

Someone told me that the magenta star may be meant to be Nanoha, the yellow one to be her rival in retrieving the Jewel Seeds, and the violet one to be me.

I have had some experience with dreams. Maybe I can be of some help.

I've gotten some advice from a few other people, but I don't think it would hurt to get another opinion. Ah. Are you charging a price, miss? I'm afraid I haven't got any money, and I'd rather like to hang on to my soul, too. Other than that, I'd be glad to give whatever you ask for.

My knowledge is given freely when asked. Because to me, wisdom is something that should be shared and not bartered for the highest price possible.

So ask away, and I will give you an answer as best as possibly I can.

Oh! That's very kind of you, miss. Ah. The others, I think, all asked for a price . . .

I'll tell you everything I saw, then. There was a castle first, and a thick fog I couldn't make out. I wasn't sure, but . . . I thought I caught a glimpse of myself. There was fighting all over the place -- the clear sounds of battle and a lot of people screaming. The scene moved to saw three stars in the sky, one yellow, one magenta, one violet. Each of them radiated beautifully . . . I thought I heard the violet one say something before it suddenly lashed out at the other stars, and fell to Earth, into a fissure that had opened in the ground.

. . .

Ah. Right before I awoke, there was someone . . . someone crying out for their mother.
