[Despite the obvious trepidation expressed in his journals, Ivan maintains his composure. He appears to be the type of person who is far more reserved in person than in expressing himself in writing. In his mind, though, he is quite a bit alarmed by the man standing before him -- Not so much because of Edgar's appearance, but because of the intense complexity of the thoughts running through his mind. Ivan tunes down his sixth sense and bows low to the ground.]
