TWO DOWN, FIVE TO GO. \o/ All of these are subject to update, of course.
* Even when little, Sora was something of a stupid monkey acrobat. He's fallen out of more trees and tumbled out of tight situations more times than years he's been alive, but he's never actually broken or even sprained anything.
* Coupled with these naturally acrobatic tendencies, Sora fights a lot on instinct. Goofy tried to teach him a little, back at the beginning, and Sora tried to learn, but then they'd run into Heartless and he'd just do it his own way and come out fine.
* This is why he doesn't use magic much. He can, and he can at least aim it so he doesn't set someone else on fire, but Donald is a signifigantly worse teacher than Goofy, and Sora would rather smack things with the Keyblade than use magic. Curaga is the only one he uses regularly.
* Additionally, Sora's one of those people who's just sort of ... annoyingly good at everything the first time he tries it. Part of this is because he's a Disney-type hero, and part of it is because he's so confidant that the sort of self-doubts that would trip people up don't even occur to him.
* In a high school hierarchy, Sora would be one of those popular jocks that even most of the nerdy kids can't help but liking, especially in comparison to his peers.
* Riku is responsible for his interest in pirates. When they were little, they'd play pirate games, but Sora never got to be captain. :( YEARS LATER he's mostly forgotten this, but he still thinks it'd be cool.
* Roxas is the one person Sora trusts instinctively above everyone else -- even Riku and Kairi. This is because of his inherent self-confidence: Roxas is like the voice of his conscience (sorry, Jiminy!) and his inner monologue given a separate body and form; Roxas is him, just not, at the same time.
* Tuesday's soup doesn't bother him that much. He doesn't eat it, but he's had worse when visiting Halloween Town.
* Sora is neither stupid nor foolish, but he's very impulsive and very straightforwardly honest. He's also something of a brat. If he needed to, he could stop and think his way through things, but he tends to leap before he looks, if only because he's pretty sure he can roll with the punches and get out okay. He's a physical person! He always tried very hard to stay awake and attentive in classes, but he was always the kid in the back of the room/by the window who'd be asleep halfway through the class period.
* Related: there has been more than one occassion where he passed only because of Riku and Kairi bulldozing him into studying. And checking his homework. And making sure he'd even DONE his homework.
* He doesn't really hold grudges. He can be reminded of them, but with very few exceptions (basically Maleficent and her group, and Xemnas), he just sort of lets things pass him by.
* Sora is also dorky enough that he will use themed Keyblades at the right time of year. Expect Decisive Pumpkin all through October, guys. |D
* If asked what his favorite thing about all his traveling/journeying/etc. is, he'll tell you it was meeting Santa Claus. Hands down.
* The best way to get Sora to do anything is to prompt him into thinking of it himself, and encouraging when he gets enthusiastic about it.
* What we see as reaction commands in the game are basically manifestations of Sora's instinctive genius (note that it is, again, a physical thing): he's reading his opponent's movement and coming up with a counter and return attack right there, spur of the moment. The names for them are all Jiminy's fault, though.
