Oh ::shudders:: I liked this! Love all the different nightmares Dean has. Also love the implication as to why Dean ended up with Alistair...Cause he was quiet and also perhaps that 'Lilith/whoever' wasn't good enough to break him. (aka bring out the big guns)

Thank you, they were sort of the lines that spawned the whole fic
I'm glad it wasn't too graphic, I did a bit of research into torture devices etc and felt a little woozy myself so... :D

I was drawn in by that Nietzsche quote, knowing that anyone who had the intelligence to successfully write a fic inspired by his words would be worth reading from, and that their fic would satisfying on a deeper level than others.

I was not disappointed!

I was just rewatching bits of season 4 and the quote just popped into my head and I knew I had to do something with it.
I'm so glad it didn't fall flat :D
