Well, the trailer is actually not that exciting because the ... tone doesn't seem very Skip-Beat-y? But that's to be expected because the wacky hijinks of Skip Beat aren't exactly easy to translate to real people in live action. Also, I am confused about how many different languages are being spoken?
I recognize a lot of scenes from the manga in the trailer, but you're right about the tone. The Taiwanese dramas I've seen aren't afraid of the dorky special effects, so I'm hopeful (maybe Kyoko's demons will appear?).
It seems that a lot of people are confused about the language issue on Tumblr. Two, I think.
Yay, Skip Beat! So long as they get Kyoko and Moko right, I'll be happy.
