About 95% of every ficlet I write seems to consist of people talking, so no useful advise for that from me - except maybe go with it and imply actions through conversation?

Creepy possessiveness might remain in the eye of the beholder, so to speak, depending on the characters and uh how bad it really is? If they're talking about it, you might either (1) make it seem less creepy (characters aware of problem) or (2) make it seem more creepy (readers aware of creepiness).

... Door number three sounds all right? I mean, if I requested 'possessiveness' as a kink, I don't think I'd mind characters talking about how 'too much' is never a good thing. (I guess I might mind if they conclude that possessiveness is a Bad Thing, but from your post, that hardly seems to be the case. It sounds more like they're having a reality check.)

err..i would say it depends on the where of the canon..i mean, if it's something from Japan, the possessiveness would be normal. other places? i'd keep the creepy. it's fun!
