Most people do it so that only one part of the GIF is moving while the rest is still. Idk how they do it, though! And I think it looks weird, anyway. XD;;
It's "Scent of a Woman." The summary sounds absolutely dreary--the heroine finds out she has terminal cancer in the first episode, and the rest of the series is about trying to make the most of the rest of her life. It's a lot better than it sounds! There's an angst slump coming up in future episodes, but overall, the tone remains positive.
Understood. I was sucked in by the positive buzz surrounding Scent of a Woman, but the premise is such a downer. The ending (which I've read recaps of, having yet to watch it myself) seems fairly positive. She's still ill, but she has more time than she expected. She's living to the fullest with her family, and the man she loves.
Still, cancer drama. It's not the sort of thing I'd try to convince someone to watch.
*nods* I found an animated gif tutorial on Tumblr (very helpful!), but a bit disappointing at the same time. Anything longer than a split second of movement, and the kb size balloons.
The gif is from "Scent of a Woman." The tango takes place in episode 8.
