Someone recently came into my journal and tripped just about every mental health issue I have. I think it's necessary to protect myself from people like her in the future.

This journal is going friends only.

That is awful. I am so sorry that happened to you.

I would have dealt with the whole situation a lot better if only RL hadn't been so awful for the past five months or so. Even though she (probably) didn't mean to be so terrible, I'm not willing to risk getting hurt like that again.

That's life on the internet!

Live and learn, I guess. Going friends only is probably something I should have done ages ago.

*hugs you hard* I can understand why you chose to go ahead and do that. I had the same experience a few years ago and the only thing I post publicly any more is my fic.

*hugs* I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I made my LJ friends only years ago for that reason. *hugs again*

It's a bit funny that I get a random internet crankypants on my LJ *after* LJ mostly goes dead.

Thanks for the support, and I'm sorry about your unpleasant experiences.

Strange indeed. I wish I had more active LJ friends though...

Agreed. LJ used to keep me entertained for hours. Now, I can get through my flist in 30 minutes.

I have a Tumblr, but all the scrolling makes my eyes hurt.

Better to go friends-only than to worry about that happening again. *hugs*
