Changing to Private Journal :D

Not that anyone reads this anymore, but if you are wondering why I haven't posted in a while it is because I prefer the privacy of my own insane rambling thoughts and reading them ad nausea um on my own page. Preferably in courier font.

But...but...we like your insane ramblings. ;-;

How have you been, anyway? You still attending or have you graduated yet?

*gasp*

How have YOU been??? :O

I graduated a year ago, and I am literally packing up to leave for NYC as we speak. After a number of disappointing graduate school rejections, I was accepted to my top choices late in the game.

I'm attending NYU--starting tomorrow! (scared!!)

It seems I have a penchant for massive amounts of rejections followed by surprising acceptance letters--I was decrying my doom until the very end.

And courier text rocks.

Do you still write? How are your studies going?

I've been fine, actually. I got my associates about a year ago and started working in UPMC South Side. Took a year off to build up sum funds, and now I plan on applying for the spring semester for Pitt's pharmacy program. Hopefully they'll show some love. 8D

Congratulations on getting into NYU! I remember you being upset about grad schools awhile back, so I had wondered time to time if you had finally gotten in. 8D That's what you get for panicking so quickly.

As for writing...very occasionally. I had something of a maturation spurt this year and am focusing on experiencing existence before I attempt to increase output. You can't write about people if you don't live life a little, y'know. ;)

But good luck! I wish you the best in NYC. Last time I visited, it was still an amazing place. I'm sure it hasn't changed much in the meanwhile.

Oh awesome--I had a friend who did research at UPMC for about a year. She loved it.

NYC--it's pretty good, but everything is too damn expensive. I miss Pittsburgh--especially Fuel and Fuddle, Fatheads...

I usually come back and visit every year for CMU's Spring Carnival.

haha yea--I panicked, but in my defense, NYU sent their acceptance super late. Columbia didn't even notify me until like May that I'd gotten in. I have my first class in 3 hours, so I'm heading out.

I'm glad everything is going great, hard to believe 4 years have passed since I started this journal! :O

ttyl...
