morning surprise...
so, A mouse has been killed, by a cat even...whether it was THE mouse or not (whom there had been little sign of in past weeks), is unclear...
there are also some questions concerning which cat did the deed...fiona was outside when the body parts were found on the carpet, therefore it seems unlikely that it could have been her...however, the kids COULD have let her out in the morning perhaps...but if they had been up to do that, then it seems like they would have seen the mouse parts, but its hard to be sure...most thinking is that boo would be unable to get over her fear of ANYTHING THAT MOVES long enough to try attacking a real mouse; also, her preferred method for killing the fake ones is by drowning and this mouse was not found on the food dish...
that leaves lisa (zombie cat)...who was looking up me in an adoringly "arent you proud of me" fashion this morning, before i had noticed the mouse...which is a habit not common for her in the morning...looking at me expectantly in the kitchen would be one thing, but not in the bedroom...so, now i wonder...is it really possible she still has enough of her uber hunting skills left that she could have killed the mouse??...the world may never know...
