Eleka nahmen nahmen ah tum ah tum eleka nahmen...

So for those of you that were not privy to my plans for the previous weekend, you should know that Joe and I decided to head to Houston for a weekend getaway, where we took in a most delightful little musical to which I'd been nearly completely unexposed, namely:

Unexpectedly, I came to instantly love it, and without a doubt would have to say after seeing the traveling tour...

"That was totally wicked!"

I've since become obsessed with the soundtrack and Defying Gravity
was undoubtedly an instant favorite. However, the singing from the Defying Gravity Tour turns out to be hella better than the soundtrack, which is beautifully tragic. I can't get a hold of a recording of those voices singing these songs if I wanted to anyway. I'm not the type to take a huge liking to a musical, but it's pleasant to play the part of the stereotypical homosexual for once and level up my Broadwayfication™. I've gotten a hundred pages into the book as well, which so far has been very good and intensely graphic, seemingly. I'd recommend either for those of you who feel like investigating. You probably won't be disappointed.

I'm fucking terrified now because I'm fairly certain I'm fated to spend over $100 in fanboy merch. Jesus Tapdancing Christ... whatever.

That L. Frank Baum; what the hell did he ever write? (None of this, actually. If you don't know the answer, look it up and be sad.)
