This might sound very silly, but I didn't have the heart to wish you a happy birthday. I was writing a response to your last post and couldn't bring myself to say it, "I hope your little boy gets better, and oh, happy birthday." It just seemed like a slap in the face to me.
I should have said it anyway.
I know you've got far too much on your mind to have enjoyed your birthday. In lieu of a present, I wish very much that you will find the strength to see yourself and your new family through this.
It actually makes perfect sense. I have also now realized that maybe people didn't want to bother me, being at the hospital and unrested and all of that. I shouldn't have been mopey, I've just always been a big "birthday" person.
You always have the kindest, wisest words and I so appreciate your remarks - they always come at the right time. Thank you so very much.
Thank you dear, I wasn't trying to be accusing towards anyone, especially here, I was just sad that a couple of my bestest friends didn't phone me as they always do.
Sorry, girl! I haven't been on top of things lately. This recovery has just completely consumed me. I even forgot my in-laws' anniversary last month. I'm marking your b-day on my calander now!
