big long dream thing from last night.
i haven't had a dream this detailed in a while. but lately i've been feeling like i need answers and hoping i'd have (and b able to remember) a dream that might help me out (yes, i've very big on dreams sometimes).
it's long
i don't remember the start, or even if there was a start.
i was buying makeup, mostly mascara. i get to the check out and it's a sup's desk at work and suzie is working the register. there are two types of mascara that i was thinking of buying but i only choose one. it's in a red bottle thing.
i talk to suzie for a bit and then mell shows up. i am suprised to see her because i didn't think she was arriving for a few more days. she puts her bags down behind the counter and comes over. she is taller and very skinny and her face is flawless. i remember thinking that she looks extremely skinny for someone who's just had a baby. she talks to me for a bit and then says something about being angry that ppl have been wearing the moulin rouge dance troupe costumes when they shouldn't be. she says she's giving them to elle to look after. this angers me because the only person i've seen wearing them is elle. i've never cared that she wears the costume but the fact that mell was angry at all of us and giving them to elle to keep in her locker so we could only wear them for the show when she's the only one who wears them made me angry. and she was wearing the green shorts at the time. i'd been planning on using the red shorts for a new show so it made me more angry that elle was now the only one who had access to them and it meant i'd have to go through her if i wanted to wear them. i was now no long in a department store but in the change rooms at work. i was pissed off so i went to my seat. while walking i decided that it didn't matter and elle is nice and she'd probably just let me use the shorts even though mell told her not to and that mell was just being a cow for no reason.
later i went back to buy the other mascara that i hadn't bought the first time. mell was now working the register next to suzie and there was some guy there too. there was some confusion with which mascara i was buying. there were now 3 different kinds, the one i'd already bought, the one i was now going to buy and some other kind. mell scanned the wrong one and i had to get her to change it. and then she scanned both and had to change it again. then the guy told me not to buy one of them coz it would make me look like a drag queen. i remember thinking that he was a queen in his spare time and he would know. but it wasn't the one i was buying anyway. so i finally get the one i was after and go to leave. but then some lady comes up and wants to check my handbag. the mascara i bought earlier is in there and she sees it and asks me to take it out of my bag. i take it out and hastily explane that i'd bought it earlier that day but i didn't have the reciept. she looked at me unconvinced and then i see suzie and point out to the lady that she was there when i bought it. suzie looks up and says "you're fine darl, i remember it" in a sort of way like she didn't really care/wasn't worried but she'll back me up if i need it. the lady still looks unconvinced but she lets me go.
then i need to go to the toilet. the room is the same as the change rooms at work again with the bathroom entrance right near the sup's desk. next thing i'm sitting on a toilet in the middle of a feild. there is no one around but there is a road not too far off on one side of me and i can see a big chimney/smoke stack think in the distrance on the other side with lots of smoke. there are cars on the rd but no one seems to notice me. but i want to hurry up before someone does. as i look around i notice more and more smoke stacks appearing and some a quite close to me. all of them have heaps of smoke pouring out but none seem to be attatched to any other buildings. there is now heaps of them all over the feild and i start to worry that there is so much smoke and it's building up and it might come over to where i am. i can see it getting closer and closer. then i man comes up and starts talking to me. i don't like him and he seems sleezy and i want to finish up and run away. my attention leaves the guy and i notice the smoke from the closest chimney start to curve back down from the sky and towards the ground. then it gets to the ground and starts coming towards me. my thoughts go back and forth from being scared of choking on the smoke and this sleezy guy who won't go away. the guy does not notice the massive cloud of smoke behind him. then a guy on a massive tracktor/side on mower thing comes past and that is also making HEAPS of smoke. i think i am about to start choaking from it and then run away towards the rd.
there is a small hill at the side of the feild leading upto the rd and a wire fence at the top. there is a stack of shoe boxes near the fence. there is a big tall fat man about the steal them. i run over and try to get them first but i have to fight him for them. i end up pushing him down the hill and go to grab the boxes, there's 4 huge boxes and they have stilettos in them. my arms aren't big enough to carry them all at once and im not sure if they're mine or not. i try grabbing the boxes and they get squashed in my arms. the big man has come back to the top if the hill and is trying to pull me away and i am struggling to get away from him and get the boxes. i am about to give up, the guy is much bigger then me and i can't carry all the boxes and i don' even know if the shoes are mine.
i get up and look around and can see the feild behind me is still covered with smoke and the sleezy man is still there near the toilet and the man with the tractor is still there with lots of smoke coming out of the tracktor but the air around the hill is clean. i hope that the man on the tracktor will help me but he doesn't seem to care and i don't want to talk to the sleezy guy again. i go to leave but then melmel comes up to the fance and says that i can't go back to work if i don't have my shoes or something so i have to go back and fight the big man.
i jump on him and try to pull him away from the shoes. i keep thinking i have to get him away for long ehough so i can pass the shoes to melmel. the fence is barbed so she can't get through. so she is just standing there looking pensive and jumping at time to try and see. the guy bends over to grab the shoes and i jump o nhis back. i am clearly no match for the guy. he jumps up and starts spinning and swinging me around trying to make me fall off.
then i start wondering what the guy is going to do with the shoes. he clearly has a shoe fetish, but they can't be for him to wear. there's no way they fit on his huge big fat man feet. i offer to make him a deal. i tell him i'll wear the shoes for him if he lets me keep them. he agrees. he's clearly ugly and fat and can't actually pick up and he looks kinda sad and lonely. he sits down on the ground and i put on the top pair of shoes. i'm not wearing shoes and my feet are dirty from the ground but i put them on anyway. they're bright pink and a clear heel. i tell him he can touch the heel of the shoe only, nothing else and definately not my foot. the ground is all dry and dusty and i get worried that the heels are going to sink into the ground and it's hard for me to walk so i sit down also and wave my foot around in the guys face. i start to wonder how im going to get away. then from a different direction to where melmel was standing comes logan and a few others. they signal at me to go with them and i grab the shoes and run, still unable to walk properly coz of the heels sinking into the ground. so im kinda of stumbling as i run and logan has to help me. we run in between some buildings and come to a water park think. it's beautiful. there's lots of small pools all in a network of smooth carved creamy coloured rocks. they're all swirly shapes and there's lots of fountains and water falls. turns out we're in some kind of team for some kind of scavenger hunt type thing but we're running late and we have to hurry coz if we lose we'll be in heaps of trouble. we run towards a big theatre type thing, the rocks are all smooth but not slippery. i think jack's there too, i don't know who the other ppl are. we get there and there's a movie screan that's supposedly going to give us instructions on what we have to do next. i don't like the place. everyone there seems scared of whatever/whoever is running this hunt thing. that's when i wake up.
