This is what you get when you mix boredem, watching QAF almost endlessly(I'm trying to finish the series before I leave for my dads), and listening to Heather Small's Pround....
I start out with a 1024x768 canvas and then I just get to it. If I'm making a Blake Lewis wallpaper I usally find 3 high quality photo's of him color them(things like selective coloring...)then place them all on my canvas and blend them together.
For this one it took many steps. I colored all my photo's of the guys(its not one picture its all their individual pictures merged together) then I put then I merged them together then added in the texture. Then I used my rectangle selection tool to cut out the part I wanted since I didn't need the whole texture. Then I used a paint splatter brush. Then I added the scratchy texture undernieth it all then added the funky texture on the side. Then I added my text.
Desktops take longer than icons/banners but they are all really fun..I love working with big spaces. ^^

How do you make headers and desktops? I want to try, but I can't figure it out.
