London seems a lot calmer and full of the 'get up and get on with it' stuff today. I loved the images of people in Clapham bringing their brooms to clean up the mess, Turkish and Kurdish community in Dalston protecting the streets, the Sikhs and Muslims together protecting the Broadway and mosques/gurdwaras in Southall - THAT's community.
as the temperature in the South cools, I'm hoping that the Midlands and North East quieten now too. I'm told there's rain up there, which means that it's less likely that there'll be trouble.
I promised some articles from today, when the outrage on all sides has also calmed and the arguements seem more measured. The second one wont hyperlink for some reason.....
here's to some calm and peace all around!
