Good for you!!!! You deserve a huge congrats for this, mate. I'm so sorry about what is happening there at the moment. It's a big mistake, and it was good to see Miliband stand up against these cuts ( ... )

*blush* Suddenly I feel like I was tooting my own little trumpet, but really I mean it as a collective, it's all of us that were there in body and spirit. I agree it's hugely disheartening to see the way things have swung back round again. I do hope that the fact that the current government don't have a proper majority will mean that they have to take these views more seriously than taken in the past.

Other brilliant banner I saw: I picture of Cameron/Thatcher morph emerging from a tub of margerine with the caption "I can't believe it's not Thatcher"

There'll come a point when the Lib Dems will realise that they are screwed forever. It will only take a few by-elections (and maybe Scotland - we'll see what happens in May, 16 could get reduced to 0) for them to realise that they might as well be the good guys. Serves them right for forming an unholy alliance with what should have been their mortal enemies. Tossers. But the thing is that they could do it. They really could. They could grow a conscience at the end of their (political) lives and make most of the decisions that the Tories make lame-duck ones. They could even demand a few of their own.

Labor in this country has a relationship with the Greens, keeping them in power, and the Greens forced Labor's hand on a carbon tax... and it has made them more friends than enemies, you know?

I have to have that poster with the I cant believe it's not thatcher... I'm off on the hunt!

Meanwhile, you should be proud of your efforts. All of you should be. The power of the individual AND the group, actually matters!
