You would think that the revelation that they were actually fictional -- Whether it be in this world or another -- would put most people off of their game. Dylan, however, had the unfortunate circumstances of spending a great deal of her time with two people who considered something like that par for the course. Yorick was sitting at the edge of the waves, shoes off, pants rolled up to his knees. He, too, happened to be contemplating life and the universe...but also how he did not enjoy the sight of naked men.

He saw Dylan wandering nearby out of the corner of his eye and gave an obligatory wave - tried to turn off the brooding, click, like a light switch. "Hey, Dylan."

"Hey," Dylan greeted in reply as she approached, perhaps thankful for the distraction from thinking about life, the universe and whatthefuckever. Her smile was placid but genuine and she stopped beside him to cast a glance out over the waves.

"How's it hangin'?"

Dylan grabbed at her crotch as if to discern the answer, but then pulled her hand away to snap her fingers together. "Damn! Not at all!" She grinned back down at him. "Want some company?"
