wigwam cotton tape from Colinette If this comes in the same colour patterns as the point 5 then this should be perfect for wrapping as well as being made from cotton Has anyone seen this or used it before???

Yes i've seen it in Bobins in Whitby... I think it would work fairly well, though i remember the edges flaying a bit... but i think thats the only problem you'd have with it...

I've not seen it but if you call Colinette they'll most likely send you a small sample.

If you wrapped it straight over braids then you may have some problems in that it may not be smooth, due to the braids, but I'm not really sure. If you were to do it over foam tubing then that problem would not be there.

I haven't seen it anywhere except the Sheep and Wool Festival (where they have every kind of yarn that man/woman makes), but.... where do they get their names? They always amuse me :)
