Cold as Ice

I've always had trouble with my hands and feet getting cold easily due to poor circulation, and my fingertips and toes tend to go numb if I'm out in the cold or driving for an extended period of time.

the temp? Because seriously??? How did you live through Chicago's winters???? Especially waiting at the bus stop at Winston and Porter?? :)

I have no idea. =)

It was probably in the lower 40s. I must've had better gloves back then. Plus, I was outside for an hour as opposed to 15 minutes.

The biggest problem this time is that my hands were already cold, and then I drove home, so my hands were in a position that would make the blood drain out of them more easily.

It's actually a condition called Raynaud's phenomenon. Mine do the same thing. The doc said to keep my core body warm and always wear gloves. It hurts when the blood starts creeping back into the fingers. It looks very strange when your fingers are white and shrivel y.
