Idol = Time of My Life
Because sometimes, double posting is worth it....
I'd say I didn't care who won but seeing DC break down when he was announced the winner made me just all gooey and swell with pride. There is nothing I don't like about that man. How long has it been since I knew I would buy the winner's album the second it was released?! KELLY for AI, though more accurately 4 years - Kalan Porter, CI2. And my has having a multiple rocker contestants this season has done wonders for the finale show!! (Much less how great having a rocker idol finally will do for the show I think) The song selection was the best I've heard in ages, minus a few head scratchers. 'Father Figure' is good and all, but not exactly fitting and I NEVER want to hear Kristy Lee utter such words again. Even the Jonas Brothers were bareable. Hey, at least it wasn't another double dose of Miley Cyrus banging her head. Amanda looked soo excited to be back *sarcasm*. Paula looked like she was going to have a wardrobe malfunction at any moment in that dress. The David^2 duet was awesome even if the song choice clearly favored Cook. The foreigners, Carly and Michael singing together was great to see and hear, they both should have gone farther without question. The Davids' celeb sings -- LOVED soo, Cook rocked out of course and you can't go wrong with 'Apologize' in my book. Also, So You Think You Can Dance dancers again!!! I am SOO revved for tomorrow!
How much did I spazz when Cook re-enacted that Risky Business scene in the Guitar Hero commercial!! OMFG! *savestoYouTubefavs* Archie was a lil awkward with it, hee.
And thus concludes the BEST season in AGES! ♥
