It's a Datel product, not official Nintendo. I think I may just return it to Best Buy and order the official Nintendo version.

GO!!!!! This is different than New York. Europe is wonderful, and your uncle had a bad experience...I never had and I was in a country where I couldn't even speak the language! You will regret this if you don't do it, and 3 months isn't that bad at all. Think of at as going to a school out of state instead of out of country. The culture and atmosphere overseas is excellent and I have never met anyone who wasn't helpful while over there. Think of this as a test for living away from you family and friends...ie..after you get your masters. It will give you a definite boost over any other applicant for a job..and they are paying you! I don't know if you will get another opportunity other than this one. Mary, if you don't go, how will I be able to go to Scotland?

If you want to know what England is like, my roomie is over in Ormskirk right now and I can give you her email and stuff to talk to her. Also, I have a friend, Josh, who studied abroad for a full year (semester in France and a semester in Budapest) and now he has a job in Budapest. Seriously, everyone I talk to says that if I don't study abroad I will forever regret it...same goes to you!

I too agree that you should go. Right now you have nothing to hold you back and it's a fantastic opportunity. If you're nervous about being American, just say you're from Canada. Seriously.
