My question is this: Did they mean for that to be satirical, or were they serious? Please tell me it was Satire. Even if it's not true. Please.
I have to give them points for choreography and set design, but man that song was GAWD-AWFUL! Unfortunately it's the kind of awful that's going to be in my head for a week bouncing around and torturing me. The lyrics seemed to be either written by teenagers who are "OMFG, like so into poetry!" or Europeans who know English well enough to write something grammatically correct, but not well enough to know it does, in fact, sound stupid.
Final note: This kind of thing is exactly why I have NEVER seen a single episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. E-V-E-R.
see now, i have a lot of friends (mostly male, actually) that are really into buffy and angel, because the writing was fantastic, and the characters were all very well developed. i'm a huge fan of the show firefly, and joss whedon was the creator/writer for that as well. but yeah... i still haven't been able to force myself to watch buffy or angel...
