I know they're going for a "funky style", for the lack of better description, because that's what Underlanders are like. Weird and funky. However, there is a very big difference between "lazy-as-heck art" and "stylized art". This goddamn comic is LAZY AS HECK

Have you seen that book? GODS it's awful >____< The character constantly shifts between looking like bugs, looking like bloated blobs, and looking like floppy blow-up dolls, and I SWEAR IN SOME OF THE SCENES STAYNE ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE TIM CURRY FROM THE ROCKY HORRORS PICTURE SHOW!!!!
