If I kill my 4 year old cousin to stop him from killing my dog... Would that qualify as self-defense? Or protection of the weaker??

Winter is in the northern hemisphere right now, Romy. It doesn't like your heat either.

And that would definitely be self defense.

I would call it justifiable homicide. But I like animals more than I like people 99% of the time, so I'm not sure you should trust my judgement. :P
