Oh, that's awesome. :) Poor Chase, and poor baby, and yet youc an already tell that it's going to work out all right for them.

(Tiny nitpick, though -- you switch to present tense for a couple of paragraphs right when Stephanie says "Bringing you your kid," and then back to past of the rest of the story.)
