Angela hadn't intended on coming back to the bar quite yet. She's almost afraid to, being so ashamed of herself. She'd overreacted horribly and she felt awful for hurting Steph. And for overreacting to Melou. That was spectacularly stupid

At Steph's Flat...

Angela chews on her lip nervously as she knocks on the door. She really hopes she didn't hurt Steph too hard.

She really didn't like to use violence.

Steph is obviously startled to see her there, jumping and looking rather guilty when the door opens to Angie instead of -- well, Steph's not sure who else she knows who would knock, certainly not Goldy and rarely Indy or Mike.

"...Ange!" She puts a hand to the fading purplish-yellowy bruise at her cheek to hide it, guiltily. "Um. Hi!"

Angela smiles slightly, then frowns. "Hey." She pulls Steph's hand away from her cheek gently. "I'm sorry I did that," she says. "I overreacted."

Her other hand twists in the skirt of her dress nervously.

Steph's fingers curl around Angela's, holding her hand tight.

"No ... you really didn't." She sounds impossibly relieved that Angie doesn't seem mad still. "...really."

Not long after, a shadow looms over her, blocking the sunlight.

"You done with your tantrum yet?"

Angela looks up at him, squinting a little. "Yes," she says, and pats the ground beside her. "Come sit?"

"Good," he says shortly and then does sit beside her.

She moves a little closer to him. "I'm sorry," she says quietly.

There's still a feeling that maybe she shouldn't be the one saying it, but someone has to. It'll all even out in the end, anyway. Eventually.
