So Michael is doing well enough with his leg (no more cane!!) that we are going to actually be able to make Elvis and Elena's Toronto ceremony this weekend. I am SUPER excited about that! Michael and I are heading out to see some fireworks on the beach soon but I wanted to wish all my US friends a very happy Fourth of July! Its been a fun day for us. And I'm doing well too. Michael is getting around better now (no more crutches at home although he still uses them when we go out because otherwise people are knocking into him and tripping him up) and we have been able to have a bit more fun with him having more mobility. Michael got his cast off today. Its a bit earlier than they expected but they said his breaks were healed up nicely so they took the cast off. He will be in an air cast for a bit as he does therapy to regain strength in the leg though. And the crutches are back too. He's so happy to be free from the heavy cast though! I am too.
