Neville swatted away the mosquitoes that were buzzing around his head. Twilight was the best time for collecting asphodel, but it was also prime time for the blood-sucking insects.
"Why don't you just zap them? A simple spell will rid you of the nuisance." Harry, unlike Neville, was unaffected by the pests, and began reaching for his wand.
"I can't - won't kill them."
"Why not?" Harry hesitated, waiting for Neville to continue.
"After the war - after Nagini - I made a vow to myself to never intentionally take the life of another creature, no matter how seemingly small or insignificant."
