Happy 2011
What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
I started living with someone who isn’t family or a pre-chosen roommate and it has gone wonderful for the both of us so far.
Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never actually consciously make resolutions … so I don’t think I have passed or failed any of them. If anything I did become happier and more content living with someone I love, and although not consciously wished for it is certainly something I have been wanting for a while. I do plan on king one for this year, probably something simple like writing a happiness diary day.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I am aware, or rather I hope not. Friends my age do not need children yet.
Did anyone close to you die?
Don’t think so.
What countries did you visit?
Can we pretend that going to a Mexican restaurant in Japan is going to another country? Oh, and an Australian one.
What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
Hm, a tough one. I think I would like to have more ambition to get off the computer and do stuff that doesn’t involve electronics.

January 9: Got a boyfriend February 14: Best Valentine’s Day ever
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I was able to get a renewal at my current job so am happy to have job security for another year.
What was your biggest failure?
I don’t think I had any failures persee, though I did gain back about 3 kilos. But that is from actually eating real dinners due to having someone awesome to cook for me, that and muscle weight. Teehee.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got food poisoning for the first time once in March and that was horrible for one night but then was better. Also I had a strange rash thing that then led me to understand that apparently I am allergic to allergy meds so cannot take Benadryl should the flowers get to me this year.
What was the best thing you bought?
My personally signed Junjun and Yossy pics.
Whose behavior merited celebration?
My boyfriend Michael’s, he is just really kind and understanding about everything.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
No one that I can think of.
Where did most of your money go?
Mostly to city taxes and health insurance. Theh rest went to concert tickets and goods.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Having a 3rd row ticket to the New Year’s Hello Project show
What song will always remind you of 2010?
Namidacchi It has turned into a great sendoff song for Musume even if it makes me cry sometimes when I see it live.

iii. Richer or poorer? Richer but about to be poorer after shopping spree

How will you spend Christmas?
I spent it with homemade lasagna-ish dish and relaxation time with boyfriend.
What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in 2010?
Hmm… hard to think of. Nothing stands out in particular, though I did do two of my preschool classes with my fly down, then subtly fixed it. Luckily I had a long shirt on though so I don’t think anyone noticed it

Yes, and I am still in love.

None.

Anything with my idols on it, like Bijo Gaku.
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
I have no fashion concept, I just dress comfortably. Well, most of the time. I did start to wear more skirts and dresses and tried my hand out at being girly and tall in heels.
What kept you sane?
Knowing that I had a secure job and a person who loved me.
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope.
What was the best book you read in 2010?
Kokuhaku. A recommend for everyone, should be translated eventually since an American remake of the movie is already in the works.
What was your greatest musical discovery?
I re-discovered my love of Korean girl groups.
What did you want and get?
I got to stand first row at a concert for the first time back in June and it was glorious.
What did you want and not get?
To see my Junjun in billions and billions of concerts?
What was your favourite film of this year?
Battle Royal 3D, hands down.
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I went to Outback Steakhouse and we had horrible service but good food, I was 23.
What three things would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
1. Getting to talk to Junjun for a few minutes alone.
2. Going someplace outside of Japan.
3. Getting a surprise 10man raise (lol, yeah don’t need that much really)
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Yossi/Junjun just like always.
What political issue stirred you the most?
Nothing stirred me but I am psyched that DADT is finally in the process of being removed.
Who did you miss?
My friends back in Nagoya.
Who was the best new person you met?
Well not just one person, but I have met a few new wota friends in Tokyo who are just awesome and super kind.
What is a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010?
Not to panic when things go a bit off, just breath and things will work out.
