HEY GUYS REMEMBER THAT ONE COMIC....
... that I mentioned a while back?
IT IS NOW ONLINE
I have not shared this in my livejournal for whatever reason... I am lame.
Also, I've been crazy overwhelming myself in many ways.
So, the planning of this comic project that Neil and I have been working on has lasted almost four year give or take. It's probably the thing that I've most invested my time in.
And now it's public. I have a comic that's online for people to read, and I have to keep updating it on time and keeping the public interested! I-it's scarier than I thought it'd be!!
Sure I've posted little comics and drawings every now and then. But it's nothing like this. This is the real deal... er... or pretty darn close to it. I have a responsibility to it now. It's no longer in my head to let my mind wander about what could happen. Now I have to actually put it down on 'paper' and show what's happening.
I'M SO NERVOUS. But Neil, the writer/creator of the comic, is really encouraging. If he's happy with how it looks, then I'm happy about it. And he tells me if something's wrong and critiques it!
We're also applying to an anthology. After first submitting I got an email from the guy accepting the submissions and he's giving me more time to gray-scale it 'cause he thinks I can make it look awesome ;O; I CAN'T NOT TAKE THIS CHANCE
Also, trying to get to San Diego Comic Con, get a proper portfolio put together for SCAD, take the SAT, and get a whole bunch of other stuff together!
I need to PROVE TO MYSELF that I am, indeed, a comic artist.
My back hurts from slouching. I'm making no sense and I'm tired ahahahahah.
Busy weekend.
Also had a five-hour "date" with a guy from my tae kwon do class of nothing but talking about everything. That was awesome.
