You know, it just occurred to me that if you were a Kira, you wouldn't have anything to gain by solving that riddle for us like you did. That would be a clue that a Kira would like, because the detectives would be arguing pointlessly over it at least until time to vote again.

Heh! Yeah, well. I figure I'll still be under suspicion -- who can blame 'em? -- but I figured it was better to have the clue solved than unsolved, all things considered.

...wish I had some idea who 'James' was, though.

Well, by figuring it out, since you're included in it, you've put yourself under suspicion - if the other two get voted out and the Shepherd doesn't say anything, you'll get voted out, too.

And if you hadn't solved the clue, it wouldn't have gotten solved - that's why it's the kind of clue a Kira would like, the detectives would argue over it for days and not get anything done!

Personally, my money's on Sano-kun, because I can't suspect you right now because of you solving the clue, and if 'James' was a Kira, I think he'd actually be interested enough to show up.

Ne?

Yeah, there's that -- though the blond detective kid, Inomoyama, seems to think I'm a wolf trying to clear myself by solving it. Heh. It seems a little much, but I guess people do that.

I just hope my solution's right, but it reads like half the clues in the manga I've confiscated from kids before.

Honestly? I was thinking Sano too. I can see why the shepherd might pick the three of us -- I was under suspicion in the first round, so I'm on people's minds as might be/might not be a wolf. James hasn't shown up, so nobody can judge whether or not he IS a wolf. Sano, though, wasn't under suspicion before, that I saw... eh, it might be coincidence, though.

I'm looking at the suspicion votes right now... and those from last night. Did anyone fess up to voting for you in that poll last night? I'm noticing that you have exactly three suspicion votes. I was one of the ones on Tsuzuki-sensei, so I know that wasn't a wolf-pile, but I didn't clearly understand why you were getting voted for.

Are you one of the votes on Sano-kun?

And interestingly enough, Fllay-chan voted for him!

If I don't make it through the night, I think you have a lead!

Yep. After cozying up to me, which seems weird after last night, but I might be reading into it.

Why do you think you might not make it through the night? Isn't Inomoyama at bigger risk, since he got the clue?

There's always a chance I got a reputation from last game, but you're right - if Fllay-chan is a Kira, I doubt she suspects that I suspect her.

But they don't always go for the safes - who would you rather have out, someone who could bust you, or someone who everyone already knows is safe?

I would rather throw the detectives into confusion than just timidly pick off the people everyone already knows are safe anyway - or a combination of the two!

But if Sano-kun was really a Kira, you and Yuuri-kun are both in danger of being killed, since you would have outlived your usefulness as scapegoats.
