Huh? Did I miss something epic last week?

I wouldn't exactly call it "epic", but last week this lady archaeologist named Professor River Song (man, the '60's were good to somebody!) turns up with a sonic screwdriver, a "squareness gun" (refers back to a 9th Dr. ep.), and a big, beat-up-looking, TARDIS-shaped diary which she begins flipping through when the Doctor turns up, trying to figure out where they are in respect to each other's timelines. She realizes that she's known him for years, but he's never met her before. Time travel is so confusing. And she gives off the impression that they're romantically involved. And she's probably going to die. Time travel is not only confusing, it also sucks.
Sci-fi channel is running last week's ep. as a repeat at 8 tonight, followed by the conclusion at 9, if you want to share the angst Personally, I think I'm the one who missed "something epic" last week, what with 2 vigils, your beautiful bowl (I saw the pics!), and a watermelon longship. I'm taking Sam over to the Marinus event tomorrow. I'd thought about camping, but I've heard ( ... )

Thanks for the heads-up on the re-run. Double the DW goodness. Yay!

This is true. Your play by play of the Doctor Who episodes just cracks me up. Even when its morbid there is usually something to speculate over.

Because of the time lag, I'll probably call you tomorrow night (on my way back from Marinus). Then we'll both have felt the Doctor's pain.

Say, do you suppose River's been keeping the sonic screwdriver in her nightstand for when the Doctor isn't around . . .
