that is a load of crap. Seriously, I never understood why they would cut something like that out. Especially when some of the kids in my school were saying that we had a lot of nice programs considering we were a small school.

Thanks for clarifying, Amanda. It all makes sense, but like you said it will be really sad to see orchestra go.

As of right now there are enough people because of signing up for an extra elective, but the numbers are getting messed up so it can be confusing, especially for those who are not here. You guys can trust that the current music groups are doing what they can to prevent the cuts, and keep swin as a full time teacher.

one way to fight this problem in the future might be to encourage Forrestdale to create an orchestra.

ah, good idea...how do we do that? robin says they might be starting an orchestra....but they have more options for electives than rfh does. that's accordign to nicky kellogg through robin.

i'm sure you can get more info through nicky than through me about current affairs in Forrestdale, but when i was there, chorus and band were before school. So i'm sure they'd put orchestra either before or after school.
