Why am I up, I don't even.... I woke up, wrote fic, and now I'm tired. It's been a long weekend. I'll try to get online tomorrow for everyone<3
ANYWAY. Fic! This is dedicated to cypsiman2, because he writes so many BBS fics and is a constant inspiration~
It had been far too long since she’d seen that smile.
A wide, infectious crescent of teeth. So bright, so warm, so right. One hand was at her mouth in shock; the tears were falling before she even realized it.
A name tripped at her lips: “Ven.”
She quickly negated the distance between them, and she felt like a missing part of herself had been returned. “I’m so glad… you’re here,” she whispered.
He squirmed in her embrace. “I… um….”
Aqua pulled back. A startled Sora looked up at her, eyes wide and ears red. Her throat tightened. “Oh… you’re not him.”
There was that smile again, more apologetic this time. “Sorry,” Sora said. “But… I can take you to him. Ventus, right? And Terra, too.”
The ends of her lips curled slightly. Her cheeks tingled, needles showering across the skin. Had it really been so long since she’d last smiled?
“Okay. We’ll go together.”
