Angel was mad at Wesley right now. Why on earth did he think that it was OK to shoot a gun in this office? In all honesty, he could have hurt someone. They may or may not care about Lilah, but they certainly couldn't go around threatening her with guns. Not if they wanted to keep their head on their shoulders. The Senior Partners were NOT going to deal with someone shooting a gun at their liaison's head.

He got to Wesley's office and knocked on the door. "Wesley? Are you in there?" he asked as he knocked.

Wesley looked up from his work. "Come in." He said calmly. He sent his paperwork aside. It seemed that Angel wanted to talk to him now. He knew he would have to explain himself but he was ready. The only thing he hoped for is that Angel would hear him out before condemning him.

Angel walked inside of the office. "You know what I'm here for, Wes," he said, sitting down in front of his desk. "So, why don't you tell me what the hell was going through your head when you fired a gun off in the office."

"Just hear me out." Wesley said calmly. "I was stopping Fred and Lilah from fighting. Lilah only responds to threats so I threatened her. She attacked me earlier in the day and then started hitting Fred. She was getting out of control. It was not my intention to hurt her. I made sure when I fired the bullet it hit the wall below the picture frame.

I knew what I was doing, and don't tell me I should have come to you because they both ignored you when you told them to stop earlier. I stepped in because I felt I had no choice. Besides we have to stop the apocalypse and we can not have them fighting with each other. I have made it clear to Fred that this is not to happen anymore." Wesley said.
