Who: Buffy and anyone else. Where: Wolfram and Hart - Buffy's new office When: Thursday at 1pm, 1/15 What: Buffy has a lovely new office, and she's settling in. Status: In progress.
To say Eliot was feeling a little awkward and a little off his game was... actually about acurate. It wasn't nearly as bad as last night when he'd just kind of followed Buffy back to his place and gone upstairs, showered, and gone to bed without training or anything. Though fighting with a slayer was pretty good pre bed calisthenics

Eliot grinned at Buffy's complaint. "Hello, thief? We've met before I think." He said with a return bit of snarkyness of his own as he walked further into the room, watching her file papers with a grin of amusement

Spike had been wandering about the offices, wondering where his various talents could do the most good, but he wasn't finding anything that seemed terribly interesting. However, the sound of Buffy conversing with someone who sounded a whole hell of a lot like Lindsey certainly caught his attention, until he remembered the P.A. that had gone out about there being a new guy who was in no way, shape, or form Lindsey McDonald, all appearances aside

Just what Eliot didn't need: More fucking demons and creepy ass things in this creepy ass building. It seemed like every time he was almost used to all of *this* someone mentioned something like demons popping out of hell gates at unpredictable and unopportune times

Spike watched Buffy drawing her idea of the paper demon. A smile touched the corners of his mouth. He loved to see her so playful. Maybe it was because this one wasn't her Apocalypse. That had to make it easier. "Might want to add that it's not to scale. Not nearly as intimidating as it should be when you can just step on it
( ... )
"Right, good idea." She scribbled ; 'WANTED:' in large letters on the top and then on the bottom she wrote 'PAPER DEMON Note: Not drawn to scale' Then she grabbed a piece of tape from the desk and opened her office door, posting it up for anyone who walked by in the hallway to see it. They would think her mad. She closed the door almost all the way and left it cracked

Quickly Eliot slid the last folders from the pile into their proper place in the cabinent, still grinning to himself about the paper demon. As long as fire killed it and it was small enough to stalk the halls of Wolfram and Hart this supposed Paper Demon was something he'd make a point of trying to slay.
Not really, but hey, he was amoung slayers and demon hunters. He had promised Sophie he would try to fit in and not get into trouble while she was away.
One of two was pretty good for him.
"Breakfast?" He commented with that grin of his. "Sounds good. And hey, be careful out there tonight. Lot of unsavory types in this city. A girl like you could get hurt." He teased just a little as he headed for the door. "Don't know how well slayer healing works but if ya do, wake me up when ya get in." Not that he was likely to be asleep.
He paused and turned, nodding his head toward Spike as if he was unaware of the other's jelousy. "It was good meetin' ya Spike, see ya again some other time. See you at breakfast B."
Oh, so she didn't have any brilliant response to his pointing out the lack of sense she was making in her stay with Eliot. Well, at least that meant she was admitting the flaw in her logic, even if she didn't say so. At least, Spike would tell himself that until he believed it

Buffy's head was still facing to look at Spike. "But I promise we'll have frequent pajama parties. If that makes you feel any better about the situation."
She turned a little red when he had noticed she was tired. That was pretty embarassing, but what was more embarassing was what she was about to say to Spike. The truth was she hadn't really been sleeping because she had a horrifying slayer-vision she was keeping secret. She was afraid to fall asleep. She hadn't had one since Sunnydale. She decided the best idea was to go to sleep when she was nearly about to pass out. That way her body wouldn't have the energy to even create dreams
