I thought that maybe Xander and this whole hide and seek deal with Angel and Spike was connected, somehow. I was getting a little bit pissed off at the fact that everything is not going the way planned. Everything seemed to have it's obstacle. Welcome back to California, Buffy.

I looked at her as she spoke these words. She was right. That was a good place to start looking for any clues. Perhaps it could tell us what exactly had happened. I started to think back to the events of that night:

I knew it was gone. I didn't understand how it was gone, because by the way she was talking, EVERYTHING should be gone. Not just a hotel. I knew it when I first entered this damn place. Or maybe I just had the wrong street. It's possible, Los Angeles is big..maybe they have the same street name too. I didn't respond..just kinda walked following her. The possibility of me having the wrong street was ruled out when we turned the same one I had been on earlier. Nothing but empty space.
Illyria stopped, taking a few seconds to break the silence. I don't know what she was thinking, because her facial expressions are pretty much the same..or maybe she was always feeling the same thing. I didn't dare to ask.
