So....don't really know what to say. I'm sorry for everyone having to see me so down lately. It won't get much better until I can get my friend Sara off my mind. She's going to Iraq with the army on Saturday. She says only for 6 months, but it's the army, I know she'll be over there longer. And i'll miss her 21st b-day cuz she won't be back.

i feel the exact same way that you do... i hate to admit it, but when i thought she had left without saying goodbye to us, i was mad... i talked to kev and i told him that i couldn't believe that i was actually mad at my best friend just because she didn't call... but i thought she was gone and i wasn't sure if she was going to come back... and then she called during my class and i asked my prof if i could go and call her back, even though i knew it was rude. afterwards, he said that it wasn't rude and i didn't even have to ask because he knew how i was feeling... i can't believe that i was mad, though... everytime i see anything regarding war (which is a lot, ya know, because i have a war in german lit class, i watched "band of brothers" with trish, and then i just saw "jarhead" with trish...) i think of how there's a chance she won't be coming back... but i know that she will... i have a feeling that she will be back... i know you love her, because i love her, too... but i know she's coming back... we just gotta pray... i love u an
