OK so the venue was amazing! Its so beautiful inside! I was there about ten years ago and it looks almost exactly the same- whatever "renovations" they did mustve been backstage LOL
AJ's hair is really long, and he had it back in a cloth/elastic headband thing. I thought it looked better than like slicking it back and the whole receding hairline thing :x But I can think of at least two people that Im pretty sure are going to hate it LOL Howies hair looked REALLY short to me- I dont know if it was cut or he was wearing it different? They all looked and sounded great!
I was sitting next to an LDer :) (Manderzbsb, I think) I didnt even bring a camera, but I wish I did- they didnt even check us!!! She had one though- hopefully she'll share her pics! We had AMAZING seats! Center balcony- we had the best view! At first, there was a girl in the row in front of us (the only row in front of us lol) with this GIGANTIC sign, and she kept like holding it up, we were about to kill her. People, dont bring giant signs to the shows unless youre only going to hold them up during non-important parts (like before and after theyre onstage :susp: ) She moved somewhere else, though- so that was a bonus.
It was hot as HELL in there- I cant imagine what it was like to be on stage performing UGH. Reserved seating people- get ready! Nick and AJ were IN the audience! And I mean like the tenth row lmao Nick was standing on someone's seat asking a girl if she could see ok, and AJ was in the aisle up a few rows asking the same thing. Also- there was a LOT of Nick on the floor in front of the barricades, so have your cameras ready! He DID say that they wanted to get into the audience, but that everyone had to "Be Cool, I dont want to get tore up" haha Everyone was really, amazingly cool. No one screamed in his face or grabbed at him that I saw, and I could see almost everything. Props to all you guys down on the floor for that!!! Same with the AJ side!
The most fun song for me was Shout, and I love what theyve done with Backstreet's Back- the arrangement is SO GOOD. They were all in really great moods, it seemed- happy to be there, etc. Brian was the ham of the night, for me. AJ was being AJ and was funny, Nick was a riot a few times, too, but it seemed like tonight was Brians night to be the clown. He was making faces, posing funny, pointing and laughing with people in the crowd, it was a lot of fun to see. And people are right, they DO touch each other alot on stage *weird* lmao
Brian gave a quick "Hi" to his former high-school tennis teacher, who was in the crowd with his family- Brian said he had come to STL one summer to play tennis and thats who he worked with. Small world LOL. We also all sang Happy Bday to their keyboardist, Charles, whose Bday is tomorrow, on the Boys day off. It was a lot of fun and everyone sang so loud!
It wasnt a surprise how many people knew the words to the newest songs- even the ones that hadnt been "leaked" online. Im sure everyone is DLing the clips that LDers have been so great about uploading and sharing :)
I thought it was a really great show, one of the best Ive been to! I was worried after the few bad things people had posted about GA, but risked it since it was reserved seating, and it was well worth it! Im proud that the show here seemed so great, and Im really hoping the fellas and their management will remember us when theyre planning the summer tour!
I want to say thanks really quick to my Momma *Tricia* for buying my ticket for me, I love you and I wouldnt have been able to go tonight without you! Thanks to Marissa for the ticket, and for being so patient with me getting it lol Thanks to Manderz for making me laugh and for my pics to come! Thanks to the fans from all over who made it so fun to be there tonight! Thanks especially to BSB and the band for the AMAZING show! (All the behind the scenes people, too) And thanks to YOU for reading this lmao
If you have any questions, let me know!
