help an undergrad researcher out... PLEASE...need submissions by Sunday night This project is for SOC 462: Methods of Social Research. My research is focused on social movements, and for this project I am researching the Voluntary Simplicity movement. You may submit your answers anonymously if you wish. 1a.) What does the previous statement mean to you?

I think of the classic desire to make life for the next generation easier/better than it was for you and yours. Its the desire to not have to put your children through the hardships you had to face.
This statement makes me think that my parents were trying.

2.) Similarly, when you hear someone refer to the "American Way" what do you think they mean by this statement?

Imperialism. It's pure imperialist bullshit. It makes me think of the old Superman cartoons with the "Truth Justice, and the American way" spiel. Having the American way isn't so bad, it's that some people feel the need to force feed it up the rest of the world's arse.3.) How would you describe your overall quality of life (considering such aspects as time spent at school and at work, amount of free time, ability to participate in activities that you enjoy, amount of ( ... )

in the paper, with the data she is asking for, does she want tables like the ones she used in class or graphs?

either way, I think... she said we could arrange the data in whatever way fit best for our project... if you want to be on the safe side (and if your data is categorizable in that way) you could make the tables like she has... they'd be easy to do in a program like Excel

ok, thanks. in hindsight, i see the site i used to administer my survey will calculate data for you, but it only does 10 results at a time for the free account. pooh.
