Christmas in Boston! (Pardon the 2 months lateness of this post...)

Christmas Eve was a wonderful family time. Normally we’d go into church on this evening, but it didn’t work out this year. Instead we all stayed-in, played games, and took family pictures. I curled my sister’s hair and Mom then curled mine.

The statue at Harvard was called the "statue of three lies" because the name, date, and something else written on the plaque below it were all historically inaccurate or something like that.
The story of the "smoots" goes like this: each year the senior students at Harvard supposedly found the shortest freshman and used him as a "measuring tool" to measure the length of the Harvard Bridge. The shortest student was a young man who's last name was Smoot. When the students were finished measuring the bridge they found it to be approximately 364.4 "smoots" long plus "1 ear".
