He's got tiny droplets of water stuck to his eyebrows, and he looks around before he'll step under the umbrella with Arthur.
It makes Arthur's fingers clench around the handle, makes him irrational and angry and almost reckless. "Eames," he says, and sighs.
But there are only so many fights he can have in a day. Only so many times he can watch Eames shuffle away. Somewhere around the corner Ariadne and Fischer are laughing, cruel like everyone's favorite jokes, and Arthur is just tiredAnd maybe it works both ways, maybe he forgets sometimes how well Eames knows him, too, but Eames rubs at his mouth, soaks Arthur's shirt by pressing his wrist against Arthur's hip.
