I feel like my state of mind at the point should be recorded for me to return to at a later time. I have been out of college now for a little over a month and I'm rapidly approaching my start date. I have not yet received my diploma, despite the fact that Amanda already has hers, so I'm hoping that is not some sort of bad sign. I'm starting to pack

It's a sign that says maybe you shouldn't move until you receive your diploma, in case your new job needs it for something.

And no, of course I didn't prevent or intercept its mailing for such a purpose, silly, how could you ever suppose I would stoop so low. You wound me with your not unreasonable assumptions of my despair level.

And it may not be hitting you, per se, at present, but it sure is for me to have to look at all these boxes all the time now. =(
