It sucks. All of it. But you know what I do? I buy a bunch of stuffed animals for a children's hospital here, so that the kids can have something to hold onto while they have to be in there. It makes me feel so good to see the looks of gratitude and joy on the faces of the nurses when I drop off the toys. It renews my feelings for the season.
