That was a very detailed story. Did you know that person?

Not entirely, although some of your comments before made me think it was possible. You did infer they were insane, after all.

Insane, unreasonable, childish...

I guess that's not being entirely fair. Some of them are very logical... Well, calculating, really.

You sound as if you have an interesting group of friends.

That at least sounds preferable to having nothing to do.

Usually.

Do you have nothing to do?

Ah-- I was commenting more generally, although I imagine you could say that my time is spent in a less busy fashion than I am used to.

You're a lawyer, right? I guess there's no court system here... That's unfortunate. Especially if I'm going to be here for very long...

Yes. There has been frequent talk of one, but as to whether it gets going or not is another matter.

Especially if you're going to be here for very long? I'm not sure I follow.

That is unfortunate.

I would really appreciate that! As long as it's no burden, I mean. Is the library safe?

No burden at all.

I'm not certain it is; it's probably best to go with company.

Before we go, we should probably ask through the network. No point in making an unnecessary trip, especially if it could be dangerous.

That would probably be a good idea. I must admit, fighting wasn't something I was ever involved in as a teenager, and certainly not in recent years, so I can't say it's something I'm skilled at.
