Put my resume up on Monster.com. Got a reply just hours later from someone wanting me to sell life insurance. Granted, the first year is a guaranteed income of 40 grand, after that there's no guarantee of income. That makes me nervous. I'll probably email back and ask a few questions. But it's not something I'm planning on persuing. But it is nice

those are the same guys who pestered the crap out of me -- and still do! -- wasted a lot of time going to "interviews" to realize once I got there that they weren't interviewing me for a job, but trying to "sell" me the sales position.

You can do better than that ... you've got Mad Skillz ... find a way to use them creatively and you'll find your happiness. May take some time - but your happiness is worth it.
