So how bout them Sox? Okay, Okay, so I didn't watch the whole game. But I must say that I was excited to know that for once those DAMN YANKEES lost. And I'm sure that 90% of who actually reads this will be Yankees fans. Whatever. I'm not big on baseball or anything and I'm not even really a Boston fan...but as stated before, I think it was high time.
It's kinda like how when I watch NASCAR, I get really sick of seeing Dale Jr. (and his dad, before) and Jeff Gordon winning all the friggin' time. I like Jr., but when in the Hell will Kasey Kahne ever win? Frustrations, I tell ya.
I can admire the greats in every sport and there's obviously a REASON they win ALL THE TIME, but it's just fun to see a little variety here and there. I can tell right now that people are thinking "That stupid girl has no clue what sports are all about. Geez. She should not type that!" Well I did, so I shall bask in my ignorance. Plus, you can comment and rant, so it's obviously of some use....
So tonite Robert and I went to Outback with his coworker, Rob and his wife. It was their anniversary. And of course it would be the night Robert forgets his wallet. Oh well, he'll pay them back tomorrow. It was a fun time, cuz normally I feel really uncomfortable around them. I mean, they're like 10 years older and all the conversation is normally "work work work" talk. But it was good.
And I must say, lately I have found some motivation to go to most of my classes. I say "most" because I didn't go to GEOL lecture today, but that's okay cuz the guy can't speak English really and I had lab today to cover it anyways. My teacher in lecture is way behind what we're doing in lab anyways. I think I would get pretty good grades in all my classes if my teachers weren't such assholes when it comes to grading styles. *sigh*
***Speaking of Classes***
Does anyone wanna donate money to send 2 underprivileged kids to YMCA Camp Silver Beach next summer? My Personnel Management class group is raising money for a grade and we have to have $500 dollars to get an A. I'm sending letters to like 20 local businesses, but I figured it's worth a try to advertise here. If anyone wants to donate or has any ideas as to what local businesses I could ask for money, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE comment.
That's about it. I'm so tired and this entry has been pretty random, but somehow I just had the urge to write it all down. :)
