[After working slowly and diligently through every single book in the library--not reading them mind you: only flipping through each one quickly--Maka resigned herself to the fact that it was only a library in name. You certainly could not call what it had reading material, much less educational. After, she leaves and returns home.]

[Wriggle opens the door, rubbing her eyes; she had been sleeping, or trying to, when the knocking roused her. She looks at Maka for all of five seconds before staring intently at her own feet.]

...Hi.

[She hunches down.]

Hi, Wriggle. How are you doing?

[backs up a few steps]

Fine.

I'm sorry I haven't seen you since...everything happened. I thought everything that happened to you was all my fault and...I was so scared to see you. But that's no excuse.

I'm so, so sorry, Wriggle. For everything.

It is unlikely that the town considers evil god worshipping cults to be suitable reading material for anyone; male, female, child, or adult. However, the quotes you relayed through the radio are from the Christian Bible, the majority from the Book of Revelation.

It is the sacred book from the Christian religion. The Book of Revelation recounts the vision of the end of the world seen by the Apostle John.

I've never heard of this religion. Are blood-stained writings and a god-like little girl a part of it?

... I was in tha church. Yer talkin' about the symbol that kinda looked like a little girl? An' all the bible verses 'r whatever?

angelic_meister May 23 2010, 04:59:32 UTC
Yeah. It looked...pretty clearly to be a cult. It was hard to tell in the dark, but the stuff it was written with was dark red, so it...may have been blood.

And there's the fact it was written in regards to a little girl...

Yeah. Totally creepy horror movie shit in there. An' it was, like, in every page a every bible too. It wasn't like anythin' else I saw over there, which wasn't much, I'm afraid ta say.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the result of them going insane.

...Or maybe the person behind all this takes the form of a little girl?

I wonder if I should have left you out, but--

That's what it looks like. It was creepy and seemed to be worshiping a little girl. It seems pretty clear to me everyone had gone mad.

What did you find, Maka? I never really got a chance to put that information-sharing meeting together. You want to trade notes with me?

Reply

angelic_meister May 23 2010, 05:27:49 UTC
Sure. I had my notepad with me, so I wrote down everything I found word-for-word and tried copying the pictures, so what I have should be pretty accurate.

Great! I've got a transcript of what the television in that one house was playing over and over again, and a note from Richard Grey's journal or something.
