Oh, Chrona! You came outside!

[Wait, maybe that wasn't the best way to word it. Maka puts the book down.]

I'm happy to see you.

[Aww, lookit that. Chrona's blushing.]

Um... I-I'm happy to see you too, Maka... that's why I came outside...

[She didn't quite catch that last part.]

Oh, right, you asked me what I was doing. I'm practicing with my Soul Perception.

[Walking through the park on patrol, keeping her eyes peeled for anything suspicious or dangerous looking. A Green Lantern's work is never done.]

[Maka's not doing anything suspicious, besides what might appear to be either reading or people-watching.

...Her eyes do linger on Soranik a bit longer, though. A strong, honest, and determined soul like that is always something that impresses Maka.]

[Nods in Maka's direction as she catches her gaze lingering, offering a small, polite smile.]

[Maka smiles and tries to appear as nonchalant as possible while offering her own wave in return. She wondered if looking at people's souls without permission was somehow a breach of privacy.]

[[HEY GUESS WHO'S GOING TO CRASH INTO A NEARBY TREE?

Massimo is so terrible at flying, he should just give up.]]

[[He falls to the ground with a loud thunk. He groans, picks himself up, then tries to pull out all of the sticks and twigs and leaves that are stuck to him now.]]

Sorry about that... I'm still new at this whole 'flying' thing. Did I startle you?

Um, yeah. Seeing a guy in armor fly into a tree without warning is a bit scary.

[Yuuka happens to be taking a stroll through the park. It seems as if she may be lost in thought about something...and is completely not paying attention to anything going on.]

[Due to this state...Maka might possibly read something a bit more true from Yuuka than anything she would be actively presenting. It's likely to feel rather terrifying...but also with thousands of years of sadness and loneliness behind it.]

[Maka's run into ancient souls like that now and again. However, she stares a bit harder, trying to concentrate more in an attempt to get a better image of this person's soul.]

[And her soul is going to look the exact way it was described in the permission's post. A simple, frightened, and beat up young lady with the stains of tears down her cheeks...clutching a sunflower.]

[Yuuka herself, however, has stopped walking. She feels something a bit strange...and is looking around. The second she starts looking...those feelings of her soul revert back to feelings of a cool, collected and politely terrifying person.]

[Maka makes a mental note of the reaction and decides to actually go back to reading. She wasn't sure just what that person was, but getting her attention by staring at her would probably not be the best thing to do.]

[Kohaku is drifting by on her broom, carrying a couple of...empty milk bottles? She feels benign at first, but there's a mischievous undercurrent beneath it.]

[...The broom thing bothers Maka at first, but she tries to hold her judgment. The shape of the soul is kind of adorable, so she watches Kohaku.]

[After a bit, Kohaku thinks:]

Oh dear. I'm all alone, but somehow it doesn't feel this way? As if someone is watching me, intently....Maybe I should watch less of those spooky shows before going out.

[Maka wonders what the girl is thinking, what with the vibes of mischievousness coming from her, but eventually Maka decides the girl is harmless for now and tries not to push her luck, going back to her book.]
